Low tech small office:
The NetWinder 3100 is an ideal managed solution for a small business. Small and unobtrusive, the Internet appliance provides a five-stage firewall with a wide variety of options that allow the ISP to restrict outsiders from getting in or insiders from getting out. The NetWinder 3100 is a DHCP server and a router enabling faster, easier internal setup. All connections are pictorial represented for easy plug-and-forget operation.

Administration is Web-based with optional dial-up modem support for out-of-band maintenance. Support for secure shell and built-in, remote VPN make it easy and safe to administer. The Web-based GUI allows for quick changes and setup on a multitude of broadband protocols including PPPoE and dynamic IP addressing.

As the business grows, so too can the NetWinder infrastructure, easily handling hundreds of concurrent firewall connections and dozens of VPN tunnels. Additionally, NetWinder products can interoperate with Linux/Unix, Mac and PC clients or servers. Or, ISP can deliver on-premise services such as e-mail, Web hosting, file sharing, print serving, and discussion groups via the NetWinder. Features include:

RebelRemote creates a VPN between the NetWinder and a roving computer. Designed to operate over a variety of speeds of connections and temporary links, RebelRemote services the needs of home users, and road warriors. Each NetWinder customer is able to download the server software as well as three free client access licenses.
