Verio provides a wide range of offerings including dedicated Internet access, Web hosting solutions, security, storage, and managed services. Since its incorporation in March of 1996, Verio has established a global presence through the acquisition, integration and growth of more than 54 local, regional, national and international providers of Internet connectivity.

Verio currently has customers in more than 146 countries. The company's global sales efforts include direct sales as well as partnerships with more than 5,000 active resellers and channel partners worldwide. The company operates in nearly two dozen U.S. markets, in the top European markets including the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Spain, and in all major Asian locations.

The NTT Communications Global IP Network covers more than 125,000 miles worldwide, delivering dual stack IPv4/IPv6 carrier-class Internet connectivity and managed network services such as IP VPNs. The network features OC3, OC12, OC48 and OC198 circuits, as well as Cisco and Juniper Networks router technology.

With the launch of its Global IP VPN services as well as Smart Content Delivery, Verio continues to enhance its network offerings.

The network features densely meshed paths between most major network points, both domestically and internationally. Redundancy is a key factor, with at least two connections, each from a different carrier, at many of the major points in the network. With multiple carrier-class POPs and extensive private peering relationships, customer data is able to bypass the congestion of the public Internet and get to its destination fast.

The network itself is monitored 24/7 by the company's Network Operations Centers in Dallas, Texas and Tokyo, Japan. The NOC provides network monitoring, performance and traffic management, and furnishes real-time network status to Verio Customer Care to assist with problem resolution.
