Even subtracting the lost 82K NorthPoint subscribers, that leaves a net gain of the larger DSL providers of 490K, or 22% for the quarter. Others, including Alltel, New Edge, NAS, Focal, DSL.net, IP, Century, Arrival, Citizens, Broadview, Network Plus, Network Telephone, and MPower add 90K +- 20K, with every reason to assume their growth was similar to the larger companies.

Telechoice's 2,914,000 US subscriber number for March 30 is more accurate than our total last issue, and we thank them for helping us find out our underestimate.
